    The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Niger State Council has felicitated with the the immediate past Governor of Niger State and Senator for Niger North Senatorial District Senator Abubakar Sani Bello on his 57th birthday.

    In a congratulatory message signed by the council Secretary Usman Chiji on behalf of the Union, the State Chairman of NUJ Comrade Abu Nmodu described the 57 years of the celebrant sojourn on earth as a milestone and worth celebrating considering the fact that he has accomplished so much both in his public and private life

    Comrade Abu Nmodu noted with satisfaction that, Senator Abubakar Sani Bello has been a pillar and supporter of any initiative that will foster peace and unity

    The State NUJ Chairman specifically recognised his respectable public conduct, respect for the role of the media and simplicity even with seduction of power that intoxicates many political actors.

    He explained that, the initiatives of Senator Abubakar Sani Bello has greatly impacted positively on the lives of the people of his Senatorial District irrespective of gender, ethnicity or political affiliation .

    Comrade Abu Nmodu who described the celebrant as a friend of the media recalled his unwavering support and assistance to NUJ which has been a catalyst for the harmonious relationship between him and the Union.

    He extolled the virtues of the celebrant describing him as a gentle, humble, accomodating and Advocate of modesty.

    The State NUJ Chairman prayed God to continue to grant the celebrant sound health, more wisdom and knowledge in the years ahead.

    He assured that the Union will strengthen its existing cordial working relationship with the senator for the overall development of his Senatorial District and the state as a whole.
