Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has preached the importance of concerted efforts and synergy among government, parents and religious bodies to restore family values in the society.
The farmer Governor stated this on Sunday when he attended the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners at its Minna Headquarters auditorium, Gbaiko.
He said, “people have lost family values, leading to intolerance and many other vices which have negatively impacted on the society”.
While congratulating the Living Faith Church Worldwide for attaining 44 years, Governor Bago promised to continue to support the Church and Christendom.
” Let use this opportunity to encourage the Church to key into our agricultural agenda by owning a farm and to continue to pray for the administration as it desires to serve the people to ensure a New Niger is achieved”.
The farmer Governor announced a donation of N50 million to the church, and promised to construct road network within the Church promises.
The Resident Pastor of Living Faith Minna, Pastor, Anso John Dominion appreciated the farmer Governor for attending the 44th anniversary of Living Faith Church Worldwide.
He applauded the doggedness of the Bago-led administration in the realisation of the New Niger agenda, especially through massive infrastructural and agricultural development across the State.
According to Pastor Dominion, “I want to assure our Farmer Governor of the Church’s continuous prayer for him to complete all the projects initiated by the administration which are capable of transforming lives and livelihoods in the State”.
