With the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fast, Yobe’s popular governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah has set up feeding points in selected areas across the state where thousands of those fasting can go and break their fast daily.
The feeding points have been strategically situated in all the three Senatorial zones of the state with those of Zone ‘A’ in Damaturu, Gujba, Gaidam and Dapchi.
In Zone ‘B’, people are fed in Potiskum, Fika and Nangere while Zone ‘C’ has Gashua and Nguru serving as the feeding centres.
The development advocate who is now a household name as KMT in Yobe, has also set up mobile feeding which transports meals and water in takeaway packs and shares to hundreds of the needy across the selected local government areas and their immediate suburbs to break their fast with relative peace and comfort.
This is in addition to the distribution of thousands of bags of rice and cartons of spaghetti in phases to individuals, groups and associations just before the commencement of the Ramadan fast.
KMT, who has since been persuaded by his growing admirers to join the governorship race in the state in the 2027 election, has been assisting communities in various fields spanning over two decades.
His interventions cover all sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, skills acquisition, provision of solar powered boreholes and street light and rural feeder roads to boost commerce and economic growth among communities.
