The 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Chanchaga Federal Constituency of Niger State, Honourable Adamu Abubakar Salami has promised to focus on facilitating access to affordable financial opportunities for women and youths including employment if elected into the National Assembly.
Salami stated this during interactive meeting with women groups and youths from the constituency in Minna on Tuesday.
He explained that the focus on such employment would enable the women to establish and expand businesses without the cumbersome processes associated with accessing funds from the banks and marketing their products, adding that, “improving their socio-economic well-being would remain one of my major priorities”.
He said, “I will not let you down on these agreed goals as we strive to enhance your socio-economic well-being. Youth and women empowerment would form the core of my legislative agenda because these two groups remained critical drivers of economic growth and development in any society”.
He assured that youths and women will be central to the formulation of his legislative agenda, saying their ideas and contributions would be incorporated through a bottom-up approach to development.
The APC candidate urged youths in the constituency to vote massively for all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections, saying that, “such support would enable the party to implement programmes that would address the aspirations of our people “
