    Abuja Kidnapping: student victim found in Minna a week after abduction

    A man identified as Cornelius Damulak 36yrs and a student of Veritas University Abuja who was abducted from his residence by kidnappers on 6th February 2025, has been found in Pogo area of Minna, Niger state.

    The victim was said to be found roaming the road in the area few kilometres from Minna metropolis by police on patrol at about noon on Friday 24/2/2025.

    The Police Public Relations Officer of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun confirmed this incident in a statement in Minna on Friday.

    “It was revealed that the victim was abducted in his residence in Bwari, Abuja on Thursday 6th February 2025 at about 5am by suspected kidnappers and he was taken away, from one forest to another”.

    According to him, “February 14th, 2025 at about 12noon, a suspected kidnapped victim was found roaming around Pogo-Paiko highway by the Police patrol team attached to Chanchaga Div and he was immediately rescued to the Police Division”.

    He said that fortunately, he was able to escape from the abductors on February 13th, 2025 and found himself along Pogo-Paiko highway, Minna after a distance trekking and he was immediately rescued to the Division.

    The victim, according to the police, has been taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention while an effort to locate his relatives is being intensified.
