    Women group  endorses ADC governorship aspirant for 2027

    A Coalition of women groups across the 25 local government areas of Niger state has endorsed the African Democratic Congress ADC governorship aspirant, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi Mohammed for the 2027.
    The women coalition leader, Hajiya Aisha Mai Youth Suleja said the endorsement is to save the state from the misrule by the current administration.
     She explained that the coalition has decided to  prepared the aspirant towards accepting the claron call to contest for the next general elections in the state.
    She said, “Niger state needs a good and purposeful leader that will have the citizens at heart, who will empower the women, get rid of poverty, secure their lives and properties”.
    While assuring  massive mobilisation of women towards 2027 governorship poll, Aisha Mai Youth described Kpautagi Mohammed as humble, sympathetic, hardworking and results oriented individuals who is passionate about the development and progress of Niger state.
    In their separate remarks, the three women Zonal Coordinators of the movement, Hauwa Musa, Mrs Mary Ishaku Shashere and Sadiya Shehu Kontagora lamented over the  incompetence exhibited by the present All Progressives Congress APC led leadership in Niger state.
    “We  regretted voting for the ruling APC during the last general elections in the state.  We are now  without feeling the positive impact of the administration in our local communities”.
    “There is need to vote them out the competent leadership through ADC as the only alternative in 2027 elections”.
    Also speaking, the State Coordinator of the Movement and former house of representative representing Lapai/Agaie Federal constituency, Abdullahi Mahmoud thanked the women for their foresight and identifying the rightful individual for leadership.
    Responding, Dr Mohammed Kpautagi Mohammed said although it is not yet time for campaign,  but appreciate the women for finding him worthy to lead the state and assured them that when the time comes he will heed to the claron call for the betterment of Niger state and Nigeria.
    Kpautagi Mohammed noted that he has a well articulated manifesto with priority to the grassroots at the local government levels that can propel massive development and reduce rural urban migration in the state.
