    17 LGAs benefitting from N-HYPPADEC development projects- Official

    National Hydro-electric Power Producing Development Areas Commission N-HYPPADEC has assured of  commitment and priority to the development of  communities in the benefitting states.
    The Head, Media and Public Affairs, Nura Tanko Wakili made the disclosure during the  ongoing management post programme and projects evaluation tour on Tuesday.
    He explained that the tiur is to ascertain the viability of all executed projects by the commission across 17 local government areas of in Niger state.
    According to him, “this is to mobilize communities on the essence of taking ownership and maintenance of projects in their domain for sustainability”.
    He encouraged them to make judicious use of the projects located in the communities aimed at cushioning their hardships.
    Also speaking, the Niger state Coordinator of the commission, Umar Musa Alhaji emphasized the importance of feedback from the benefiting communities in order to ascertain the challenges so as to proffer solutions.
    Responding, the Dagacin Shata Abubakar Garba Kali commended N-HYPPADEC for the provision of portable water through thevdrilling of motorized  boreholes and building of classrooms for schools in Bosso communities
