The Niger State APC Caucus has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for a second term in office for 2027.
This was the consensus reached by all stakeholders of the party in the state during an expanded Niger State APC Caucus meeting held in Minna.
Leader of Niger State APC Caucus at the National Assembly and Senator representing Niger East, Sen. Muhammad Sani Musa moved the motion for the endorsement and was seconded by member representing Bida/ Gbako/Katcha federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdul.
Other high profile members of the party including the Minister of Information and National Orientation Muhammad Idris Malagi, Minister of State agriculture, Senator Abdullahi Sabi, and Vice Chairman APC North Central, Mu’azu Bawa all commended the transformational efforts of both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago and called for their  continuity in office.
They acknowledged the giant strides attained by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umaru Bago and described their achievements as unprecedented as they urged Nigerians to give them the chance to continue with their good works.
In his remarks, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago appreciated all the APC stakeholders for the trust and confidence reposed on him.
He said, “all APC members should remain committed to the growth of the party which is instrumental to their emergence in various political positions”.
“I therefore call on every APC supporter in Niger State to play key roles in promoting the party and continue to canvass support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu”, he said.
Bago also reaffirm his total support to all the candidates of APC in the forthcoming local government elections, adding that rigorous campaigns would be held.
Governor Umaru Bago explained that his administration has already declared a state of emergency in the health and education sectors and will continue in his developmental strides for the state.
