The Niger State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aminu Musa Bobi has declared full support of the party to the State Coordinators Forum in ensuring the success of the planned mobilisation tour of the country for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re- election in 2027.
The Chairman stated this on Tuesday while receiving in audience the delegation of the Forum in Minna.
He explained that embarking on the tour would boost President’s second term in office campaign, adding, ” it would mobilized and galvanized support to the President Tinubu second term bid”.
According to him, “The tour is in furtherance of the declaration of Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago as the self appointed Director General of Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 Presidential Campaign, which must be accorded all the seriousness its deserved to become a reality “.
He also gave the assurance that both himself and members of his team will join the nationwide tour to seek for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reelection come 2027 in addition to providing the much needed support.
He said, “We will provide support covering feeding, transportation and accommodation to ensure success of the outreach”, adding that the declaration by farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago would not be taken foregranted because it is a call to action and a task that must be accomplished.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Forum, Dr Umar Mohammed Dyadya, affirmed the commitment of the Forum to rally round the grassroot in Niger state and the entire country towards a resounding victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
He said, ” to achieve this, Niger state Coordinators Forum has appointed the state Chairman of APC Aminu Musa Bobi as patron of the movement. It is crystal clear that our leader and mentor, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago is not eyeing the position of Vice Presidential seat. We are therefore working round the clock to also ensure his re- election as Governor of Niger state in 2027″.
