Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state has extolled the leadership quality of the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt Honourable Tajudeen Abbas explaining that his commitment and exemplary leadership has fostered a vibrant Legislature at the National Assembly.
Bago stated this in a birthday congratulatory message to celebrate the Speaker who clocks 60 year today October 1st 2025.
He said, “on this special occasion, I salute and commend the Speaker for providing exemplary leadership in the House of Representatives. This is a testament to your experience, competence, and commitment to fostering vibrant legislatures at the National Assembly “.
The farmer governor, in the birthday message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, describes the celebrant as a calm, humble, passionate, and intelligent lawmaker who has been making significant contributions to the National Assembly from 2011 to date.
He said ” the leadership of the Speaker of the 10th House of Representatives has been characterised by peace and unity regardless of party affiliations for the common good of the people”.
He said that clocking the age of 60 is a milestone that calls for celebration, adding that, ” it is a diamond jubilee, a significant age that marks a life well lived, and this calls for celebration”.
The Governor prayed that God will grant the celebrant more years, sound health, and wisdom as he continues to pilot the affairs of the Green Chamber.
