    LGAs poll: Win all 25 Chairmanship, 274 Councillor seats, Bago charges APC

    Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state has implored the members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to ensure that the party wins all thev25 local government councils and 274 councilloship seats in the forthcoming local government election in the state scheduled for November 1st 2025.
    Governor Bago stated this at the weekend while flagging off campaigns for the party in Minna.
    He said, ” I want the ruling party APC to come out victorious in all the 25 chirmanship and 274 councillorship elections. We should all work hard to achieve this goal and I therefore call on our members to mobilse the people for resounding victory”.
    According to him, “the federal and Niger state  governments are partnering to ensure the that the insecurity challenges confronting the state and Nigeria are overcomed in no distance time in order to enhance peace, stability and development”.
    He said that President Bola Tinubu has directed the state government to employ 1,000 youths in each ward across the state adding that the President has also  approved the construction of the Mokwa–Agaie–Lambata road, a major route connecting South and Northern Nigeria
    Also speaking, the APC North Central Chairman, Alhaji Mu’azu Bawa Rijau advised the ruling party to carry everyone along devoid of discrimination to achieve unity and stability of the party.
    He said that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago will surely win their second term elections come 2027.
    He said, ” Several decampees are trooping into the APC in recent term and the party now has 25 governors. It also has majority in the  Senate and House of Representatives respectively. Therefore the APC is in position to win all elections “.
