    KMT donates foodstuffs to Christians in Yobe for Xmas, New Year

    An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Yobe state, Barr. Kashim Musa Tumsah has donated assorted foodstuffs to the Female wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN in Yobe state as part of his contributions for them to celebrate the festive period of Christmas and new year.

    The gesture which included over a hundred bags of rice, cartons of spaghetti and other ingredients were handed over to the beneficiaries by KMT representatives in Damaturu, the state capital.

    Tumsah, a topmost development advocate in the state while wishing the Christians pleasant celebration also urged them to continue with their brotherly ways in living peacefully with everyone in the state.

    The aspirant who has been intervening in social welfare and societal growth assured that when he becomes the state governor in 2027, more welfare packages will be introduced for the benefit and satisfaction of the people.

    Receiving the items, leader of the group and Haske Forum CAN Coordinator, Mrs Sarah Marcus thanked the development advocate for the gesture and assured that all members cutting across the three Senatorial Zones of the state will benefit.

    Mrs Marcus who remarked other stakeholders should copy from the exemplary good leadership approach being applied by Barr. Tumsah.

    She urged all communities in the state to support the KMT project in order to install him as the next governor after Mai Mala Buni.

    “As you know, it is us, Yobe people that saw the good in Barr. Tumsah, it is us that pushed him to join the governorship race and so we should join hands to elect him and support his administration so that he can successfully take Yobe state to greater heights, ” she concluded.
