The Executive Chairman of Suleja Local Government Council, Honourable Isyaku Bawa Naibi , has approved the immediate dissolution of the Council, in accordance with administrative procedures guiding the operations of Local Government Councils in Niger State.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Council Chairman, Haruna Kaninko stated this on Monday in a statement .
According to him, the Chairman announced the dissolution during issued a meeting with all his aides at the Council Secretariat.
He expressed profound gratitude to all the outgoing council members for their unwavering commitment, loyalty, and selfless service to the people of Suleja Local Government, adding that, “throughout their tenure, the Council members demonstrated high levels of responsibility, cooperation, and dedication to duty, which contributed immensely to the stability and progress of the local government”.
Hon. Naibi commended the outgoing council members for their contributions to grassroots development, improved governance structures, and enhanced service delivery.
He further acknowledged their sacrifices and collective efforts in advancing the development agenda of his administration.
According to him, ” this announcement marks an important administrative step as preparations commence for the next phase of governance and policy implementation as new council will be inaugurated on 12 December 2025 marking the beginning of my second tenure in office”.
