    Yobe guber aspirant condoles Yobe, Jigawa, families over Sunday boat mishap

    Yobe state’s most prominent governorship aspirant, Barr Kashim Musa Tumsah has expressed deep sorrow over last Sunday’s Nguru/Adiyani boat mishap which claimed the lives of about 30 persons from both Yobe and Jigawa states.

    Malam Abubakar Ahmed, the KMT Campaign Organization spokesman.said Tumsah was deeply touched by the death of such promising Nigerians who were struggling to make it true life’s trying times.

    “He sent his heartfelt condolences to all the bereaved families of the deceased persons and prayers for the wounded for quick recovery.

    “The aspirant who is currently outside the country while wishing he was around to personally pay tribute to the deceased persons’ families sent a powerful delegation to condole them, prayed Allah to admit the deceased in the highest level of paradise.

    “He appealed to relevant authorities both at the federal and state levels to fasten aid delivery to all the affected persons as well as create more awareness amongst people who use boats across rivers in the area.

    “The legal luminary, oil magnet, farmer cum politician then condoled both Yobe and Jigawa state governments over the loss and prayed against recurrence,” Malam Ahmed stated.
