The Advisory Council of the WADADA PROJECT has inaugurated 26 Local Government Area Coordinators to spearhead grassroots mobilization for the 2027 governorship ambition of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State.

The coordinators, comprising 13 LGA Coordinators and 13 LGA Women Leaders, were inaugurated at the campaign office, Ombi 1, Lafia.

The ceremony, which attracted APC chieftains, youth leaders and party supporters across the state, is part of a strategic move by the Council to establish a formidable grassroots structure ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Yakubu commended the calibre of persons appointed, noting that their passion and dedication inspire confidence in the success of the project.

Your passion and determination reinforce confidence that, through unity, hard work, and strategic grassroots mobilization, the WADADA PROJECT will achieve its mission in 2027,” he said.

He charged the new coordinators to act as a bridge between the electorate and the governorship hopeful, and to immediately commence stakeholder engagement in their respective areas and forward names of Ward Coordinators for the next phase of the mobilisation.

“Our next phase is to deepen our grassroots structure by extending the project to every ward, and ultimately, every polling unit across Nasarawa State,” Yakubu stated.

According to the Council, the LGA Coordinators will be responsible for campaign operations, voter mobilization and stakeholder engagement, while the Women Leaders will lead women-focused outreach, advocacy and inclusion programmes.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the appointees, the Coordinator for Doma Local Government Area, Dr. Joseph Attah, a retired Customs Officer and Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Information and Orientation, pledged the loyalty and commitment of the team to deliver on its mandate.
