Police arrest EndSARS anniversary protesters in Lagos

Police on Sunday, have arrested some EndSARS anniversary protesters at the Lekki tollgate in Lagos, the Lagos State capital.
The protesters were commemorating the 4th anniversary of their colleagues killed by soldiers on October 20, 2020.
They were protesting against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) brutality when soldiers opened fire on them.
NEXTER learnt that some youths who gathered at the toll gate Sunday morning to commemorate the anniversary were allegedly tear-gassed and rounded up by the police.
The police authority in Lagos has not come out with a position on the development.
