    Katcha LG chairman dies in car accident, Bago mourns

    The Chairman of Katcha local government Council of Niger state, Danlami Abdullahi Saku has died in a car accident along the Minna – Suleja road.

    The accident reportedly occurred at Kwakuti portion of the road throwing Niger state into mourning.

    In a condolence message issued in Minna on Wednesday, the 7Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago expressed rude shock over the news of the death of council chairman, Danlami Abdullahi Saku.

    The statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, the farmer Governor describes the death of the council Chairman as heartbreaking.

    He said, “the demise of Abdullahi Saku is a sharp reminder that all creatures are from Allah and unto Him they will return at the appointed time” .

    He commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Katcha local government area, and the entire state over the loss.

    I therefore encourage the people to remain steadfast in the will of Allah at all time, as He is perfect in all things”, he said.

    The Governor prayed that Allah will make Aljanna Firdausi the final abode of the deceased and comfort all the bereaved.
