    Bago, Malagi scheduled as special guest for 2025 ADA National Convention

    The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago and the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi are expected as special guests at the 2025 annual national convection of the Azza Development Association (ADA) scheduled for December 26, 2025.
    The National Chairman of the association, Abubakar Ibrahim Mikugi stated in a statement issued on Thursday in Minna.
    He said, “The Executive Governor of Niger State, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago and Alhaji Mohammed Idris Malagi the Minister of Information and National Orientation are the Special Guests of Honour”.
    He explained that the Convention would hold at the New Market Site (Alako Mi Liman) Muye by 10 am, adding that the association has set a 5 years blueprint agenda for Revolutionizing Azza Community.
     He said that the 2025 Annual National Convention will dwell on growth, development, and progress of the entire area as an entity.
    According to him, this includes revamping primary school education, roadmap for science based education at secondary school level and strengthening the vigilante corps through support and collaboration.
    “The 2025 ADA Convention has the theme: “Revolutionizing the Potential of Azza Community; Harnessing Innovation, Driving Growth, and Building a Brighter Tomorrow Through Stakeholders Engagement”,
    Other dignitaries scheduled as guest of honours, are Senator Peter Ndalikali Jiya of Niger South Senatorial District (Zone A), Hon. Idris Musa Vatsa member representing Lapai local government, Hon. Hamidu Mu’azu Jantabo former commissioner ministry of local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Hon. Abdullahi Umar Evuti Lapai local government chairman.
    Similarly, the Chief Host is is Alhaji Salihu Mohammed Muye while the host is Alhaji Salihu Ismaila Abdullahi Ayuba and LOC chairman Hon. Usman Magaji PPS to the Niger State Governor.
    It added that the Co-Host are Alhaji (Dr) Ahmadu Abubakar CFR, Hon. Mahmud A. Mohammed Dere former member representing Agaie/Lapai federal constituency, Alhaji Abdulmalik Abubakar Muye, and Dr Aminu Mohammed Baka Executive Director Niger State Housing Corporation.
    Father of the Day, His Royal Highest Alhaji (Dr) Umar Bago Tafida (CON) Emir of Lapai while the Mother of the Day is TPL Hajiya Kalthum Dauda former Permanent Secretary Ministry of Women Affairs.
    He said that the Convention is also expected to adopt conflict resolution and management while stakeholders must take decisive steps to end land dispute and communal crisis.
