    Niger Monarch appreciates N-HYPPADEC for water, education projects, pleads for more

    The traditional ruler of Shata in Bosso local government area of Niger state, Alhaji Abubakar Garba Kali has appealed for more projects from the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission ( N-HYPPADEC) while appreciating the commission for the provision of portable drinking water and the construction of classrooms in schools within host communities in the state
    The royal father stated this while receiving N-HYPPADEC team on evaluation tour of projects executed by the commission in his domain
    He commended the commission for the donation education furnitures, teaching and learning materials including the provision of portable water to his people.
    He said, ” i want to assure of the maintenance and judicious use of the facilities to the benefit of the community. However, let me use this opportunity to appeal for more projects that will impact on  the people”.
    In a remark, the Head, Media and Public Affairs of the commission, Nura Tanko Wakili  assured of the commitment of the N-HYPPADEC to development of communities covered by the commission
    He explained that the  ongoing management post program and projects evaluation is to ascertain the viability of all executed projects by the commission across the 17 local government areas of N-HYPPADEC communities in Niger state.
    According to him  “the essence of our visit is to mobilize communities on the importance of taking ownership and maintenance of projects in their domain for sustainability”.
