The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Edo State has organized free medical treatment for motorists in the state.

The free medical outreach for drivers was conducted at various parks within Benin metropolis.

The State Sector Commander, Cyril Mathew, said the outreach was part of the command’s 2025 Customer’s Week Service with the Theme “Mission Possible”.

He said the gesture was to ascertain the fitness and health status of motorists who often don’t have time to go for check at the hospitals.

Mathew urged drivers to maintain the stipulated speed limits for all categories of vehicle, noting that “successful journey is possible” if all road safety rules and regulations are strictly adhered to.

He noted that FRSC is not only on the road to arrest and enforce traffick rules and regulation, but to also show concern for motorists.

As part of the customers service week, the command also embarked on road shows, distribution of flyers and public enlightenment to motorists and general public.
