Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has constructed 57 Primary Healthcare centres as part of efforts to ensure every community has easy access to affordable healthcare services.
The Special Adviser on Digital Media and Communication to the Governor, Abdulberqy Usman Ebbo stated this in Minna on Thursday.
He explained that the Governor has continued with the execution of development projects across the state as political campaigns for the 2027 elections begins.
He said, “one of the ongoing projects is the construction of a Level 2 Primary Health Care Centre in Landzun, Bida, designed to improve access to quality healthcare for residents”.
He added, “the state government has embarked on the construction of 57 other similar projects that is currently ongoing simultaneously across Niger State”.
He explained that the Landzun facility is expected to provide a range of healthcare services and amenities, including: 24-hour electricity supply 24-hour water supply, listing other facilities to include a theatre, Doctors’ quarters, a pharmacy, consulting rooms as well as other essential medical facilities incorporated.
