The African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate for Katsina State, Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita, has safely returned to Katsina after a successful overseas medical tour.
Senator Kaita, who is contesting alongside his running mate Aminu Yar’adua Ahmed, had intended to make a low-key return. However, his popularity and the yearning of Katsina citizens for positive change made that impossible.
This was contained in a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita gubernatorial campaign, Malam Abubakar Ahmed.
According to the spokesman, Abubakar Ahmed:”Immediately on his arrival, Senator Kaita travelled to Dutsin-Ma and attended the funeral prayer (Jana’iza) of Alhaji Sabe Hassan Makera, a younger brother to prominent politician Alhaji Aminu Makera. The deceased was also an uncle to a close associate of the gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Surajo Aminu-Makera.”
“With his return therefore, the ADC will continue its campaigns for all elective positions with rigorous pursuit on Katsina State voters who have anxiously been waiting for the candidate’s arrival.”
