African Democratic Party (ADC)’s governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Jibril Sabo Keana (JSK), has unveiled an 8-point development roadmap aimed at a holistic transformation of the state.
Declaring his intention to ve for the state most coveted seat public at the ADC secretariat in Keana, JSK presented a vision anchored on a bold promise: Development, Security and Progress (DSP), tagged: “JSK–DSP 2027 Project”.
Key among the items encapsulated in the roadmap designed to deliver measurable transformation across the state, is the creation of women millionaires through economic empowerment programme driven by agricultural value chain and innovative business hubs.
To further enhance agric-centered economic transformation targeting the grassroots, the former National Publicity Secretary of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), promised to create access to markets by constructing a statewide Ring Road connecting all the 13 local government areas of the state.
He also promised to establish a Produce Marketing Board to protect farmers from in-season loses of the value of their produce among other innovations.
Speaking before party leaders, elders, stakeholders and supporters, JSK declared that his ambition is not driven by personal power, but by a responsibility to restore confidence in leadership and reposition Nasarawa for inclusive and all round growth.
He noted that the people of the state are not demanding extraordinary promises but practical governance capable of restoring our core values and improving their daily living conditions across in all indices of life.
The aspirant described his ambition as a “covenant of action and purpose” to change the development narrative of the State.
He emphasized that his vision is about the “back to basics” of the ordinary people of Nasarawa State—the teacher, the farmer, the youth, and the elders whose hopes must shape the future of the state.
