Apostle Momo Promise, Founder of Zion Flames Prophetic and Intercessory Ministries, has called on Nigerians to abandon ethnic, religious and political divisions, urging citizens to embrace unity as a pathway to national development.
The cleric made the appeal while speaking on what he described as the urgent need for a “renewed Nigeria,” stressing that peace and harmony remain the foundation for any meaningful progress.
“As Nigerians, let us put our differences aside and live together in peace, unity and harmony. This is the first step to a better Nigeria. Nepotism must end,” he declared.
He also faulted the culture of appointing individuals into public offices based on ethnicity or connections, insisting that merit and competence must be the guiding principle in governance and employment.
“Jobs and appointments should be given based on merit and not by tribalism. Both leaders and citizens must work with this blueprint,” Apostle Momo Promise added.
The message comes amid continued national debates over fairness, equity and representation in governance, with many Nigerians expressing concerns over nepotism, tribal bias and sectional appointments affecting institutional efficiency.
