The African Development Bank has said that Africa loses $2.4 trillion annually in terms of annual GDP as a result of the lack of investment in the health sector while Nigeria loses $1 billion monthly by not banning medical tourism. Niger State Government has entered partnership with Direkci Group, a company from Turkey for the production and off taking of Soya beans in the state for 10 years by the company valued at $2 billion. A Nasarawa State high court sitting in Doma, the headquarters of Doma local government area, has halted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s congress slated for Saturday, September 28. Justice Abdullahi Shama issued the interim injunction restraining the party from conducting the congress. Operatives of the  Nigeria Police Force have arrested one Taimako Mato, a suspected weapon handling instructor for the Boko Haram terrorist group. Also arrested alongside Taimako are John Danladi, Mohammed Munkail, Manasseh William, and Muhammadu Haddi.
