    Late COAS, Lagbaja embodiment of discipline –Buratai
    Abdul Mohammed isa, Abuja 
    Former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General (Amb) Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Rtd), has paid glowing tribute to the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.
    General Buratai described General Lagbaja as a “true embodiment of discipline and dedication,” praising his remarkable life and legacy. 
    General Lagbaja served under General Buratai as Commander 9 Brigade in Ikeja and Commander 2 Brigade in Uyo, before being promoted to Major General and posted to Army Headquarters as Director Campaign Plan in 2020.
    General Buratai extended condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, General Lagbaja’s family, and the Nigerian Army for the late COAS’s demise..
    He hailed General Lagbaja’s leadership and vision, which shaped the Nigerian Army into a formidable institution.
    “General Lagbaja’s legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the nation he served with dedication and commitment,” General Buratai said.
