    SDP sets to inaugurate state/ LGAs executives in Niger

    The social Democratic party (SDP) will soon inaugurate its state and local governments caretaker executive Committees in Niger state
    The state chairman Barrister Yarima Buhari (makaman Minna) stated this at a pre-inaugural meeting held at the party secretariat in Minna at the weekend.
    He said the, “this pre-inaugural meeting is meant to announce the state and local government caretaker executive Committees”
    According to him, “the 25 local government caretaker chairmen would identify ward chairmen of there respective LGAs for immediate commencement of membership registration”.
     He urged all members of SDP especially those saddled with positions of responsibility to see the coming of Social Democratic Party as a new beginning which should be taken seriously, adding that, the party is poised to take up the leadership of the nation.
    Also speaking, the chairman of Elders Consultative Committee of the party,  Hussaini Umar expressed confidence that the party has garnered tremendous membership strenght adding that success is assured.
    He emphasized the need for unity and cooperation at all times pointing out that the time for for members to mobilize support for the party is now
