    Niger reassures strengthened  bilateral relations with Brazil

    Niger state has reassured of its  commitment towards strengthened bilateral relations with Brazil and boost international partnerships that would foster innovation and drive mechanization in Niger State’s agricultural sector.
    The state Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago stated this at the second session of Nigeria-Brazil strategy dialogue mechanism in Abuja
    Leading a high level delegation from Niger state, the Governor said, ” I want to use this medium to reaffirm the State Government’s commitment to improving on sectors like agriculture, technology transfer and economic development”.
    According to him, “let also reassured that the administration will continue to of strengthen bilateral relations with Brazil and boost international partnerships that will foster innovation and drive mechanization in Niger State’s agricultural sector”.
    The Governor, accompanied by high ranking officials of his government witnessed the signing of seven Memoranda of Understanding which focused on critical aspects of the economy including boosting collaboration in key sectors such as agriculture, trade, education, technology, and industrial development.
    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was represented at the event by Vice President Kashim Shettima said Nigeria boasts of over 200 million people with fast growing economy and fertile lands, adding that, “such endowments made the country the first investor’s destination”.
    He explained that fiscal reforms made in the past two years has strengthened key economic indices to secure investment inflows.  While  commending the strategic dialogue initiative of Nigeria and Brazil, he charged  officials to come up with enduring and result oriented innovative policies that will be translated to actionable framework for both countries.
