The Nami Support Organisation has distance itself from claims purporting the distribution of vehicles and the attempt to defraud some Imams in Niger South senatorial district of Niger state in the pretence of organising prayers for its principal.
The Director General of the organisation, Muhammad Sanusi Umar stated this in a statement issued in Minna on Friday.
He made it clear that his principal had never been involved in such activities adding that the good people of Niger South Senatorial District and the general public should disregard such rumour in its entirety.
Accordind to him, “such insinuations from any individuals or group are total false, fabricated to undermine the integrity and personality of his boss by mischief makers and disgruntled elements and fraudsters “.
The Director General explained that necessary measures would be put in place to track down the unscrupulous elements responsible for such campaign of calumny aimed at tarnishing the reputation his principal.
He warned that anyone arrested in connection with such activities will be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law as an impersonators
“Our activities are done through local government coordinators, nobody should give money to anyone in the name of my Boss for anything, we are not giving out vehicles to anyone or groups as speculated and we have not and will not order anybody to buy vehicles on behalf of the campaign council for distribution”, he explained.
He advised the general public to disregard the speculation and that suspects should be reported to the nearest security agencies for arrest and prosecution.
He therefore advised those involved in such embarrassing dubious character to desist from it and repent before the full wrath of the law will take it course on them.
