Citizens of Yobe State have used the Eid-El-Fitr Sallah festivities to offer special prayers for the state’s APC governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah over his annual Ramadan feeding programme and other community interventions.

This year’s Ramadan season featured multiple mobile and stationed feeding centres spread through selected locations in all the three senatorial zones of the state.

It is estimated that over 700,000 persons of all ages received balanced meals from day one of the fasting to the 30th day which marked the end of the Ramadan.

Some of the beneficiaries noted that this year’s KMT Ramadan feeding programme fully took care of their breaking of the daily fast along with their family members.

The exercise was carried out by vendors who cooked and either shared or distributed the meals at same time while vehicles moved to communities distributing the meals to especially the needy, orphans, Qur’anic Sangaya Schools, households and even people met along the streets.

Beneficiaries who said they never had it so good, commended the development advocate for touching their lives throughout the Ramadan fast in these trying times.

They expressed confidence that “such a person who is doing this from his pocket, will surely lead a people oriented and an all inclusive government when he becomes governor. ”

They all assured to massively and solidly remain behind KMT to ensure he is chosen as the APC flag bearer in the party’s upcoming primary election either through concensus or direct primary and to ultimately vote him as the next governor of Yobe State after governor Mai Mala Buni’s exit in 2027.

Tumsah who has become a household name in Yobe’s political arena has been intervening in all aspects of development for decades throughout the state.
