The governor gave the order at the weekend during the expanded Niger State APC Caucus meeting held at the Government House Minna. By Aideloje Ojo Minna Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger state has approved the immediate reopening of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai ( IBBUL) after two months closure and has directed students to resume academic studies on Monday August 4, 2025. Rescuers recover 13 bodies from Niger boat mishap, many still missing By Aideloje Ojo , Minna 13 bodies of passengers in the capsized boat at the weekend in Niger have been recovered while many other people are said to be missing.
