By NEXTER The federal government says the former President Goodluck Jonathan has left Guinea-Bissau following the military takeover in the country. Jonathan, who was in the country as part of the ECOWAS Monitoring Mission at the time of the announcement, became a subject of concern over his safety. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa, made this known in an interview with journalists in Abuja. “Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is very safe and out of Guinea-Bissau. NAHCON, in a photostatement posted on X on Monday stated that the adjustments were made to make the pilgrimage more affordable for Nigerian Muslims ahead of the 2026 Hajj exercise. By NEXTER The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva, wanted over alleged case of conspiracy and dishonest conversion of $14,859,257. EFCC said the money was part of funds injected by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) into Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited for the purpose of constructing a refinery. “Sylva, 61, is from Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
