    Alexx Ekubo’s burial holds June 18

    The family of late Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo, has announced plans for his burial, with funeral rites scheduled to end on June 18, 2026.

    In an obituary statement released on the actor’s Instagram page on Monday, the family urged the public to continue praying for the deceased, his wife and the entire family during the mourning period.

    According to the burial arrangement, a service of songs will hold on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Monarch Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos, between 4pm and 6pm.

    The family said guests attending the event are expected to wear white.

    The wake-keep has been fixed for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu, Abia State.

    The funeral service and interment will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

    The service will hold at Mary Slessor School, while interment will follow at the family residence in Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village, Arochukwu.

    A reception is expected immediately after the interment at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, Arochukwu, with attendees also directed to appear in white.
